Reviews and Ratings
Staying here was a mixed bag. The rooms were cozy and perfect for families with little kids, but my initial room had mold issues leading to a room change, and being charged for the first night was a hassle. The service was exceptional, making me already consider a return visit next year. The location is serene and beautiful, although some areas could use minor touch-ups. Dining was convenient and offered tasty options, especially with Dutch products available.
The hotel's location is superb, offering immaculate surroundings and magnificent rooms and grounds. The staff is top-notch, delivering first-class service from check-in to dining. While the air conditioning units in the rooms need attention due to cleanliness issues, the hotel's fantastic service and lovely setting make up for it.
Staying at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while clean and with fresh towels daily, had some issues like an old mattress and pillows. The service was excellent in some areas, like helping with a difficult cork, but lacking in personal touch. The location was beautiful, despite maintenance costs, and the dining was great with a wide selection but lacked in atmosphere. Overall, a mixed experience but worth considering.
The hotel offers exceptionally beautiful rooms and fabulous service that will make you feel like you've stepped back in time to Southern hospitality. The location is fantastic, nestled in the beautiful mountains with plenty to explore, but the dining experience could use some improvement. Overall, a luxurious stay with great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The rooms were refreshingly lovely, providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, but they felt a bit empty and loud, not quite living up to the website images. The service was friendly overall, but some areas like the Jefferson Bar seemed inattentive. The location was beautiful, especially with flowering trees in the spring, but there were comments about the snow and ground not being too exciting. The dining experience was my 12-year-old's favorite part, though the overall quality was mediocre. Facilities were decent but could use some improvement.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were perfect for us - spacious, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. However, there was an issue with mold in one of the rooms which resulted in a move and an extra charge for the first night. The service was a mix of very pleasant and helpful interactions with some staff but also encounters with rather abrupt responses and poor service in various areas like front desk and housekeeping. The location, while beautiful and immaculate, only offered limited winter activities. The dining experience was okay with decent options. The facilities were well-maintained overall.
